This follows after a few stormy months in the camp. The DA also wishes to extend congratulations to our new Acting Director of Cricket South Africa, Graeme Smith, as well as head coach Mark Boucher and the rest of his coaching team, Enoch Nkwe, Jacques Kallis and Charl Langeveldt, who showed that the right leadership gives confidence to the players.Captain Faf du Plessis and the boys dug in deep to reach 376 runs in their second innings after a good England attack. England could only achieve 268 with South Africa winning by 107 runs. England went walking back to the dressing room with their heads down losing the first test. This achievement puts SA Cricket back on track to their winning ways. This victory has underlined the team’s ability to perform when the pressure is at its greatest, with the right management to show that South African Cricket is still alive and well.We wish them well in the next few tests and are looking forward to see Cricket SA in the news for the right reasons.
