Today, like many parents and guardians across the Northern Cape, I accompanied my youngest son to school at the start of the school year.

Munier will be continuing his studies at the Northern Cape High School in Kimberley.
Through giving our children basic education of a high quality, we give them the opportunity to become economically active adults. We give them the opportunity to pursue further studies, to start and grow their own businesses or to follow career paths of their choosing.
The DA is therefore committed to an education programme which will ensure that all children in all schools receive access to basic education of a high quality. In doing so, we equip our youth with the skills to contribute to the project of building One South Africa for All.
We wish all learners, parents and guardians, educators, and support staff all the best with the school year.
